Description

Each year, Åklagarmyndighten publishes its annual report in print. In addition to presenting the previous year’s figures, the Authority wanted the report to include facts about the organization and function as a giveaway containing useful information about its operations.

My idea was to distinguish the different editions through the use of color. One challenge was that the existing image bank was limited and inconsistent, having been built up by different photographers over several decades. My goal was to create a cohesive visual language using detailed images from the organization’s daily work while still maintaining a personal feel. In this way, a sense of human presence was created without having to show the faces of the employees.
